The private investigators set showing the use of a foreground miniature billboard, seen hanging on monofilament at a critical distance and position in front of the lens.(at left)

With miniatures it is helpful to do scaled projections to determine their optimum scale, which trades off size (cost) of miniature with depth of field requirements using a specific lens. While this is a complex procedure to do on paper, the use of 3D modeling environments makes it much easier now, as can be seen above. The Billboard is about 3 feet across.

Section of wallpaper manufactured for one of the sets, it was also
reproduced as fabric too. This was achieved with large digital printing
rather than the actual process of wallpaper manufacturing. The panels
were butted and pasted like wallpaper. For a short run of product this
was a more cost efficient way to do it.
