Omaha Steaks - Father's Day
Originally conceived as a lock-off shot interviewing people on a sofa. The sofa would remain fixed and the people and their environments would change. As the sofa was a key character in the spot we had it custom made. We created 13 different background walls and dressing that could be brought in one after the other as the talent changed. Below are the computer renderings I did to show these different looks as well as a simple video of them intercut to see the "lock-off" effect. Ultimately we didn't shoot it this way as it felt that the wider shot lost too much of the closeness and intimacy of the interviews.
Sets built in sketchup and rendered in Thea, animated in Photoshop.
Below was a funny interchange that made its own spot.
